PDF Converter Free App Reviews

Got this free for my mac from the Apple App store, painless and quick. I needed to add some text to a file and this worked great for me. Yes the free version may only convert to powerpoint, but you can add text, pictures, etc to your document, then that can be saved back to a pdf or even a pict, png, jpg or tiff. A 1 star reviewer said that they needed a word doc ... it can be sent to that under the edit menu and send. Im thrilled and though I havent even considered purchasing the full blown version, I might if I plan to use this again. The only drawback for the free version is if you dont have Microsoft Office, but if you do, Im recommending a try!!

Waste of time if you want to convert to word. Not free to do this.

I have a simple Pages document that I converted to PDF, then used this utility to try and covert it to PPT. It ate all of the spaces between the words. So this: deciding if the the patient’s health problems have been completely resolved.’ became this: ‘decidingifthethepatient’shealthproblemshavebeencompletelyresolved.’ This is completely useless. Definately will not be upgrading to the Pro version.

App only gives the option to convert PDF to PPT. It requires an in app purchase to upgrade ($39.99) to be able to convert to any other format. I chose not to upgrade, because I can see in the PowerPoint conversion, it has already lost the formatting in my document containing text boxes. NitroPDF for Windows has been excellent, but I can’t find a comparable application for Mac OSX.

If you only have to do a few conversions, go online to pdftoword. c o m. Who needs it to convert to a Powerpoint. Most stupid thing I ever heard...

So far it is THE BEST!!! It converts to Ppt. Super fast.

I would give this 5 stars if it didn’t crash so much. But it takes 3 attempts to convert one file. Otherwise, it does its job.

Perfect! I gave this program a large 92 MB high res PDF, and not only did it convert it to powerpoint seamlessly, it also reduced the file size down to 6.44 MB. Thanks!

Stop. This is free. Nothing is free. This program will convert a PDF to a PPT format that still cannot be edited. It is horrible if you are wanting to convert a PDF to edit the words. It is that simple. I will say if you are wanting it in a PPT version that cannot be edited,... this program is outstanding.

Looking for a .pdf to Word converter for FREE this is not your app. The App Store advertises this app to convert .pdf’s to ‘Word’ for FREE. After you download and convert your .pdf document it converts only to PowerPoint. To get it in Word you have to upgrade for $40 (forty dollars!) Apple why do you permit your loong and loyal customers to be deceived like this ??

It converted my document well, it was free and fast and produced a very usable PPTX document that I can then edit and modify. I am a happy camper.

Did not convert all fields
