Why it can only convert PDFs to powerpoint file but not others?

just downloaded since I had a file to edit for a meeting. it worked very quick and easy. reccomended.

This app screwed up the conversion so bad the documents are unusable. Not very usefull for any of the PDFs Ive thrown at it.

It probably helped that my source PDF was originally based on a fairly straightforward PowerPoint (since lost), but this software extracted it and turned it back into a PPT in a few seconds.

Pleasing interface, but this version doesnt support pdf - doc conversions like it advertises in the screenshots which was very disappointing

The logo and title of this software is a bit misleading - the office logo and PDF convert make it look and sound like its going to work with office.. Yes - 1 Part - powerpoint. Hopefully the creator renames it to save us all some time.

This program does just what it says and nothing more but it does it flawlessly. It has saved me hours and hours of work of having to cut and paste from a large pdf file into a new powerpoint show I had to create. Many many thanks to the creators.

On all slides, the font changed from Helvetica to Times, the postscript background (master) graphic acquired a white box around it, and some of the slides brought hidden text to the forefront. Still, for a quick and dirty conversion of a PDF to a PowerPoint file, pretty useful. And you cant beat the price. PDF: Wondershares paid versions also allow conversion to Word format, OCR etc. ...

Dissapointing. The program does a great job of creating a powerpoint document but I want a text or word doc and to get Microsoft office to change powerpoint to word is impossible. Yes..,. I tried to convert to hand out sheets. Hand out sheets do not become proper text or word doc.

Dont expect too much from this software: yes it creates a converted file but it contains an image of the original file. So you still cant modify the text on your file after conversion.

It converts the file OK.When viewed on Power Point one quarter of the file is missing and cannot be viewed properly in the screen.Can anybdy or the company help? If I go in with the paid version,is it going to make a differnce?

My professor uploads course slides as PDFs, while I prefer them to be in powerpoint so I can write in the note section. The conversions were perfect, no mistakes so far.

This app does do its job of converting the pdf to a ppt for free (as most only do 2 pages & you have to pay for more), however what it does to mine is it doesn’t always include the spaces between words. I hope they make an update to read the pdf better as I am guessing that some formatting & fonts may make it more difficult to replicate perfectly. However, for the purpose of being able to write notes in the notes section of ppts instead of pdfs for my classes, it works (but can be better).

There’s no catch at least for me, I converted a 60+ page pdf to pptx no problem. Whew, saved me there.

If you include free in the name, it should be free. silly.

I tried to convert a multi-page pdf file but it just converted the 1st page and all rest pages were blank! Totally useless!
