Gets the job done but is finnicky
I have been using this app for several months now and let me say it does a great job at converting my PDFs to PowerPoint format. My professors post their lectures as 1 slide per page, so it gets translated over to PowerPoint without too much of a problem and it does this very quickly - rather handy for when you are downloading lectures straight from Blackboard right before class.
I will say though that this app puts in extra letters when it is converting to PowerPoint. For example, if the title of a slide is "Manufacturing" in the PDF, it will come over as "Manufacturing g" as a PowerPoint.
Oh, and it adds exclamation points. A LOT. If you have a list in bullet format, it will take everything in the list and add an exclamation mark. For example,
Grocery List:
Milk!
Eggs!
Cheese!
While this causes no real harm to the material, it does prove to be rather annoying and distracting during lectures. But hey, its a free app and it gets the job done, so why spend upwards of $50 to have an app do the same exact thing?
If these quirks get fixed, I will gladly up this to 5 stars. Until then, the app is "just ok" in my book.
