PDF Converter Free App Reviews

Like some have said it only converts your .pdf into .ppt, but that is all the description says it does. If you want to convert to word or text you have to buy the upgrade. What is the real use of converting a pdf into ppt because you can just manually drag and drop on your own. For a free app it does exactly what it says and it does save a lot of time over manually dragging each page of a pdf into your presentation. I only wish the full version wasnt $39

I was a bit hesitant to get this, but I was somewhat lazily desperate for a program. To make this short, I needed to turn a PDF into a Powerpoint, and this did splendidly; even tested it out when I got onto my PC (which has Powerpoint on it) The full story is that I enjoy using my Mac more so than my old PC, and thus decided to do a school project on my Mac when my instructor suddenly decided that it needed to be a Powerpoint. Since my PC runs the Microsoft Office Suite terribly, and I was dreading having to paste each JPEG I created in Photoshop onto each slide. I found this program, and all my problems were solved - which I highly appreciate since this program is free, and I dont have much money to spare being a student and all.

Im a student. Many of my lectures are presented on powerpoint but given out as PDFs. I really prefer to take my notes within powerpoint so converting PDF to Powerpoint is incredibly useful. This FREE app does an overall great job. It has a hiccup here and there with tables, usually showing the text but not the table outline, and sometimes it has an issue with a chart, but overall this has a very high accuracy rate for my lectures. VERY happy with it. REMEMBER THIS IS FREE! Dont expect perfection from free, but this is darn good.

This app did exactly what it advertised it would do with no hassle.

I despaired when I read some of the prior comments as I needed to do some quick-and-dirty editing of a pdf document. Taking a chance, I downloaded the software, and I found that it did exactly what I needed. It converted the pdf to a keynote document. I was able to remove the pages that I did not need and add a few comments on existing pages. After that I exported the document back to a pdf and I had my completed product. Note: I would not leave the document in keynote form. It would not print in portrait mode in that format.

Please dont waste your time with this software as its junk and is only trying to get you to upgrade to their paid version, which doesnt seem all that great either.

I just purchased the Pro version and tried to convert a PDF to Word and its OCR is useless. I am not able to use this at all.

As a student I am constantly receiving lecture powerpoint material in the form of PDFs. This app allows me to reconvert the PDFs back to powerpoint form, which helps me with note taking. Definitely a useful app.

After it converts to PPT, you can open a new Word file & drag & drop your content from the PPT file to Word.

Really found this little program….Huge for my productivity. When converted .pptx is opened through OpenOffice, I could change the file protocol to my current version of Powerpoint and edit on the fly!

Converts text into picture. Whats the use of that? The whole point of converting a PDF document is so that you can edit the text. BTW, the Pro version only converts text to a picture item too! USELESS!!!!!!!

Dont waste your money. I neglected to read reviews first. This will only convert to powerpoint. Im contesting the purchase since the review said it would convert to Word. Out and out lying in description

I had a pdf that contained pages that were too large to print and this fiexed the issue!

I got it to convert a pdf filles with images to ppt in order to translate it. I was expecting to have to write on text boxes placed on top of the images. Well, when I opened it, lo and behold, a lot of the text was accessible for overwriting. Thank you for making my life so much easier!!

I purchased PDF Converter Pro from a deal they were running. I emailed them before I bought it and asked about a conversion of a file not even mentioning what software I had or if I would purchase the needed software and received an amazing email back with the file all converted and attached to a word document for me and no sales pitch or link to the product that would do what she did. I purchased PDF Converter Pro that day with that kind of support. Way to be!

I will definitely upgrade to the pro.. love what I saw so far!
